I am a big believer in giving your business a good name too. I remember years ago, I read about a small business in the USA that was basically a grave tending service.
As the US is so huge and people move around, they can find themselves thousands of miles away from the
Forgetmenot
graves of their loved ones. What this business did was offer to tend the graves of loved ones for a fee. They would make sure it was kept in good order, place fresh flowers at regular times etc.
Can you guess what they called their business? “Forgetmenot”
Is that just an amazingly great name for what this kind of business or what?
I also remember when my ex wife was starting a Cross Stitch home business, making the complete kits to sell, she came up with the name MJC Designs. Sorry, but that is wrong, wrong, wrong.
After much research and deliberation, I came up with Bewitchin’ Stitchin’.
Now that name is far more relevent, memorable and catchy.
So keep that in mind when you are naming your business. It really can make the world of difference to your success.
